Milena Martínez  – Pedrosa, 1971, Havana, Cuba.

Since 1995, the Artist Lives and works in Miami, USA.

Education:

-1990-1995  Graduated with a (BFA) Bachelor of Fine Arts from (ISA) Instituto Superior de Arte, Havana, Cuba
-1986-1990  Graduated from Academia de Arte “San Alejandro”, Havana, Cuba
-1983-1986  Graduated from Escuela Elemental de Artes Plásticas 20 de Octubre (23 y C), Havana, Cuba.

Since 1998 Milena have being running the Art Department at Advanced Multi-Sign Corp, the Graphic company that she and her husband created. Recently Milena has return to her artwork with new projects that redefine a new era, an era marked by the distance. She is now coming back to the use of different materials while keeping her inspiration on Cuba, its culture, symbols and idiosyncrasy.
